How to play

Tap one of your pieces, then a lit square to move it. Men step diagonally forward; a piece that reaches the far row is crowned and can then move both ways.

If you can jump an opponent’s piece, you must. Keep tapping the lit squares to follow a multiple jump through to its end.

Take every opposing piece, or leave the other side with no move, to win. “Take back” undoes your last move and the reply.

A tip

Keep your back row at home for as long as you can; it stops the other side from getting a crowned piece.

Trade pieces when you are ahead, and hold the centre of the board for yourself.
